Salvage or Sell?
I'm asking here because I'm not selling, but inquiring.
I recently identified my first worthwhile mod in a while: a 10/10 Sundering Bow String. However, it came on the following. Sundering Longbow of Enchanting [Gold] Piercing Damage 14-26 [Req 8 Marksmanship] Armor Penetration +10% [10% chance] Enchanments last 16% longer Should I salvage it for the 10/10 grip and risk losing it? Or, should I sell it as is? Can anyone suggest a price? Last edited by Slade xTekno; Nov 04, 2005 at 09:23 AM // 09:23.. |

Definitely salvage it. The price you'd get for the sundering string is far greater than that of a non-max bow

Grats
According to the price guidelines topic in the Etc. forum, that should net you about 25-30 platinum. |

Unless you deem it worthwhile, you should never just sell things to a merch. Just the other day I was in LA dist 5 for less lag, when I saw someone yelling:
"WTB 3:1 Vamp axe haft! PM!" and needless to say, I've been packratting along a couple vamp axe hafts and this netted me some much needed cash. So Morale of the story: Keep it until you're aware that you truly want to sell it <the item in its entirety> or salvage for the mods. --My 2 cents --The shim |

General rule for the future = Non Max stat weapons sell for almost nothing. You could stick all the Upgrades that cost a fortune on a non-max damage weapon and it would still be worth nearly nothing.

2 more damage is hardly noticeable max damage for a bow is 28, so 2 less damage is hardly life threatning!! Crank a bunch of att. into marksmanship and you will mostly defintley get a high damage output!! Its low req is the key here! I use a bow very similar to this one on my r/w and with 12 in marksmanship this bow rocks asssssssssss!!!
